It all started with a list.

Last spring, local business woman Erica Jacobs started an online list of Orlando women doing amazing projects for the tech community. Erica began with just 10 names. Then the Orlando community added to her list and something magical happened: the list rapidly grew to 140 names!
Names of awesome, inspiring Orlando women who put their all into building our community. Names of women succeeding in the STEAM fields and helping other women succeed as well. Women who help Orlando shine. As the list grew, we realized that more needed to be done to recognize these leaders than just an online list. |
These leaders deserve a spotlight on their efforts that so deeply enrich the lives of every Orlando area professional.
So the Orlando Neon Swan Awards were born. An awards dinner and business showcase where we say THANK YOU to the bright stars of our beloved community, and promote outstanding local leadership.
